Welcome to ROUND 4 of the 2022 BATTLE OF THE BRIDGE, hosted by RANDWICK CYCLING at Heffron Park. The Battle of the Bridge is open to members of SU Velo, Manly-Warringah, Northern Sydney, and Randwick cycling clubs.

The four-round series comprises two criterium races held at Heffron and two races held (at North Head and Beuie Road) on the other side of the harbour.... South-siders might get lost on the way there... or fall into one of those notorious potholes on PacHwy or Pittwater Road.

THIS round will comprise:

  • Women's handicap races for Divisions 2 & 3, limited to 8 riders per Club per race = maximum of 32 riders per race. Division 3 Women may 'sit in' on Division 2 Women, if caught.
  • Women's scratch race for Division 1, limited to 8 riders per Club = maximum of 32 female riders, racing within Division 2 Men, also a maximum of 32 riders. Hence, the field size could be up to a maximum of 64 riders. Women and men may 'sit in' as part of the bunch.
  • Men's scratch races for Divisions 1, 2 & 3, limited to 8 riders per Club per race = maximum of 32 riders per race. Divisions 1 & 3 will be run as stand-alone races.
  • Club Teams scratch race = comprising 4 riders per team including one male, one female, one 50yo (or older), and one U19 rider
