Eureka Rising Sun Handicap

• Registrations Register at the Eureka Cycling Club Rooms located at 55 Foreshore Drv Learmonth to collect your number from 8.30am. Registrations close at 9.15am.
• Qualified Members - For non-Eureka members, please remember to bring and show proof of AusCycling membership to register. You must be a full AusCycling member to race in this event. No Trial Memberships Accepted.
• Handicaps - This is a handicapped event, your starting time and handicap will be determined after entries have closed and advised at registration sign on.
• Starting - The start line for the event is located a few kms south of the Clubrooms so allow plenty of time to get to the start. Please arrive at the start line at least 5 minutes before your scheduled start time for a riders briefing. Exact details of the location of the start is available on the day.
• Scratchings - If you cannot attend please email eurekacyclingclub@gmail.com (or use this system) prior to entries closing at Midnight the day before the event. 
• Post Race Presentations and Refreshments - There will be refreshments provided, a raffle and presentations conducted at the clubrooms at the completion of the race. Please stay on to congratulate your fellow competitors and enjoy some hospitality and maybe win a great prize.

Entry is conditional upon receipt of $10 entry fee.  Scratchings can be made up until 9am the morning of the event via this system or emailing the club at eurekacycling@gmail.com.  Competitors must have a current AusCycling membership either as a trial member or a full member of an affiliated club.  Maximum rides for non Eureka Club AusCycling Members (excluding trial members) is 2 per year before an add-on membership is required (excludes Open/Invitational Races). Riders must ensure their equipment is in good working order and have a working, solid (non flashing) tail light and helmet that meets Australian standards. Race Commissaires may conduct spot checks of equipment and tail lights and reject entries if equipment does not meet required standards. This is not a close road event, so all Victorian Road Rules must be adhered to at all times.
