Camden Cycle Club – Round 1 of the Trek Compass ITT Series

Also the Final Round of the Camden Cycle Club Time Trial Championships

Round 1 of the 2026 Trek Compass Individual Time Trial Series takes us to the fast and flowing tarmac of Sydney Motorsport Park under lights for an exciting Individual Time Trial (ITT).

This round also doubles as the final round of the Camden Cycle Club Time Trial Championships and will be conducted in conjunction with the Trek Compass ITT Series, creating a larger field and a fantastic racing atmosphere.

Riders will start individually against the clock, testing their pacing, power and speed over a dedicated motorsport circuit. Whether you're chasing championship honours, series points, or simply looking to challenge yourself, this is a unique opportunity to race on one of Australia's premier racing venues.

Entry Gate: Gate A, Ferrers Road
Gates Open: 5:30pm
Sign On: 6:00pm – Garage 1, Pit Lane
First Rider: 6:30pm
Last Rider: 7:30pm (strictly no exceptions)

Course

We will be racing the Full Gardiner GP Circuit (starting in Pit Lane).

• Distance: 5 laps (19.31km)

• Start: Pit Lane

• Finish: On the main track

• Riders released at 30-second intervals

• No allocated start times – simply line up when ready

• First in, best dressed

Road Bike Categories

For 2026, we are introducing a dedicated Road Bike category:

• Road Bike Men

• Road Bike Women

Road Bike competitors will be scored separately from Time Trial Bike competitors.

Road Bike Rules

• Standard drop-bar road bikes only.

• No aero bars or clip-on extensions.

This new category is designed to provide a fun and accessible racing option for riders who do not own a dedicated time trial bike. Depending on the success of the category, we may expand these next year into age categories.

Eligibility

Entry is open to all AusCycling Race Members, including triathletes with eligible memberships.

Trek Compass ITT Series Points

Series points are awarded as follows:

• 1st – 9 points

• 2nd – 6 points

• 3rd – 4 points

• 4th – 3 points

• 5th – 2 points

• All other finishers – 1 point

The rider with the highest points tally in each category after Round 4 will be declared the series winner.

Important Information

• Gates open at 5:30pm. Entry through Gate A Ferrers rd.

• Sign on from 6:00pm in Garage 1, Pit Lane.

• Racing commences at 6:30pm.

• Last rider starts at 7:30pm sharp.

• Riders will be issued with a transponder which must be attached to the left ankle.

• Riders may encounter competitors during the event. Please ride predictably and safely.

• Always overtake on the outside.

• No warming up on the circuit after 6:20pm.

• Give way to riders who are currently racing when entering or exiting the track.

Wet Weather Contingency

Should weather conditions make the Full GP Circuit unsafe, racing will move to the North Circuit.

• Distance: 7 laps (19.76km)

• U15 riders: 3 laps (8.46km)

Any course changes will be communicated prior to racing.
