Tianjara Falls

Description

A great mountain bike ride from the coast at Cudmirrah (near Sussex Inlet) along fire trails to Tianjara Falls deep in Morton National Park. The first 20 kms is uphill and hard, slow going. But on the way back, after visiting Boyd lookout it is down hill along well-maintained fire trails most of the way to Cudmirrah.

Note: Be prepared for a very long day in the saddle (8hrs) or only do it one way (Tianjara Falls to Cudmirrah recommended)!

Note: These tracks are, however, very clayey in patches, and make for very difficult, slippery cycling after rain. Especially the fords on Twelve Mile Rd are impassable after heavy rain.
