Description

Racing in the GV is back! The Shepparton Cycling Club is proud to introduce the Wodonga Tafe Deca Dash Points Score Series 2020/21 is all about consistency wins. Top 5 places get scored 6 points down to 1 point in each grade with all entrants receiving a point for entry of event. It will be both competitive and casual at the same time on one of the safest closed roads in Victoria.  Initially we will be running  junior and senior graded races. We will access this and may have to make some changes to accommodate grade number restrictions. We are limited to 20 riders on the circuit at any 1 time. Come race as many of the proposed 10 races in the series. Proposed calendar attached. This is a series, points accumulated through out series to determine final placings of series winners in each grade.

Enter the Wodonga Tafe Deca Training facility through main gates. Follow SCC Arrows on Event signage along roadway. DO NOT Defer from this route. Doing so will pick up Bindi Eyes and may bring them onto racing circuit. Keep watch for facility traffic and cyclists. Park in the Parking Bay near SCC Event trailer.

Use Buncheur App to check-in on arrival. Pre entry is highly recommended as we are limited in the numbers.

Be aware of racing circuit surface. Make sure you have enough time to ride warm up laps when nominated to make yourself aware of any uneven surfaces or cracks.

Commissure will call you to start line and give briefing. Follow their directions at all times.

We recommend driving on the sealed roadway surface and use the parking area provided to avoid bringing bindi eye onto the circuit.

The Shepparton Cycling Club would prefer if you preregister before event. Please use Buncheur, Download the app, create a profile. Enter race event, purchase ticket. Check in on app at registration desk, and then check out on existing of facility.

*Online Entry fee is $10 to be prepaid and all proceeds will go to the club as Event Facility is Sponsored by Wodonga Tafe Deca Training Facility.

*Current AusCycling license required. If you don't have a license you can purchase via this link. https://www.auscycling.org.au/membership/race-all-discipline.

This allows all riders to regroup, ride as a single peloton and gives all riding levels the opportunity to race competitively among higher graded riders.

Junior handicapped race will start at 5.20pm.

A Grade race will start at 5.30pm

B Grade race will start approx. 5.32pm

Masters race approx. start 5.35pm this may change depending on entries.
