Welcome to Randwick Cycling Club's traditional Saturday Criteriums. Racing is held across 5 grades/divisions, with Men, Women and Juniors combined into each grade. Divisions 3,4,5 commence at 2.25pm and Divisions 1,2 at 3.15pm. All races are timed. The entry fee is $20 (this includes Under 19 Juniors racing in the Senior divisions), however for riders aged 17 and younger the entry fee is $10.
PARKING: plenty available at the track and surrounding streets.
TOILETS: available at track
WARM UP: NOT available on track prior to racing as junior program running from 1pm
- This event is held entirely around a closed criterium bike track that is booked by Randwick Botany Cycling Club (Randwick) through Randwick City Council.
- The bike track is within Heffron Park and therefore the public do have access to surrounding public ovals.
- Rubbish must not be discarded and gel wrappers etc must be properly disposed of.
- Participants must hold a current 2020 RACE Cycling Australia Licence and present it prior to the race if requested. Participants must wear an ASA compliant helmet.
- The event is held in accordance with Cycling Australia/Cycling NSW Rules & Regulations. Participants must adhere to rules and directions of Commissaries. Decisions on grading are at the discretion of the Randwick handicapper and their decision is final.
- Refunds or credits will be made if the event is cancelled due to weather, or other safety reasons. Refunds or credits will not be made where an entrant is a no-show. Refunds may be made if requested at least 3 days before the event less a $5 administration fee.
- All riders entering a sanctioned Cycling NSW event acknowledge that they engage in that event at their own risk and that cycling and cycle racing can be considered a dangerous sport which can result in injury out of an act or omission of the rider, other riders, spectators and other obstacle, and track conditions. Whilst all reasonable care is taken by organisers and officials when organising the event; all participating cyclists have an equal responsibility to ensure they take all reasonable care in adhering to the rules and other conditions imposed by officials ensuring a safe race environment for all concerned.

- All physical contact will be minimised with social distancing of 1.5 meters required.
- Riders must stay at home if they are unwell or have had flu like symptoms within the last 14 days.
- As per Cycling NSW guidelines entry is only open to participants from Metropolitan and Metropolitan South/West clubs
- It is recommended that all riders download the COVID Safe App.
- No personal effects or clothing should be left at the desk.
- Hand sanitiser will be provided at multiple locations.
- a “Get in, Race, Get Out” approach where riders arrive only to attend the event and leave immediately afterwards. Riders are not to linger.
- Riders should arrive in their racing kit, with their bicycle and equipment ready for racing.
- Riders should bring their own food, water and tools to avoid sharing of items between individuals.
- If you have been overseas in the past 14 days please give racing a miss. Likewise if you have visited Victoria or any hot spots identified in NSW.
-Prize ceremonies will be brief with no physical contact.
There will be no physical sign on sheet. Riders simply identify themselves at the desk and their name, grade and race number will be noted.
