Come and challenge the clock at Heffron Park.

You will get ONE only opportunity to post your fastest time.

Overall entries are CAPPED at 120 - no further entries will be taken!

The first rider will depart at 2pm with riders departing at 30 second intervals; DON'T BE LATE!

Randwick Cycling adult and juniors members to enter for FREE; $20 (for adult non-members); and $10 (for junior non-members). Thanks for the support of Logan Insurance Brokers.

When entering please choose the grade you usually race on Saturday's in our criterium races (A Grade = Division 1). 

Once entries have closed we will allocate start times and advise participants.

The rules:

• Road bikes only are allowed (no TT bikes).
• You can use aero wheels and aero helmets etc.
• It is from a standing (held) start.
• We will be using the long course of Heffron and riding in the usual (clockwise) direction.
• Riders can only warm-up on the outside track, trainers or rollers off the track.
• No drafting from other riders - this is an individual time trial!
• Open to riders holding a AusCycling RACE membership from any club!

Welcome to RANDWICK CYCLING 2023 One lap of Heffron | Logan Insurance Brokers Club Championships | One lapper open to all, located at Heffron Park. This special event commences at 2pm SHARP. All races are timed.

The entry fee for Randwick Cycling members is $10 (adults) and $5 (aged 17 years and younger).

For any members of other clubs wishing to do battle against the clock, the entry fee is $25; and for riders aged 17 and younger, the entry fee is $10. 

PARKING: Where possible, we encourage you to ride your bike to Heffron Park. There is also plenty of car parking available via the Robey Street entrance and surrounding streets. Car-pooling is discouraged.

TOILETS: available at track

WARM UP: NOT available on track prior to racing as junior program is running from 1pm

• This event is held entirely around a closed criterium bike track that is booked by Randwick Botany Cycling Club Inc. (RANDWICK CYCLING) through Randwick City Council
• The criterium circuit is within Heffron Park and therefore the public have access to surrounding public ovals
• Rubbish must not be discarded and gel wrappers, etc., must be properly disposed of
• Participants must hold a current 2023 AusCycling RACE licence and present it prior to the race, when requested. Participants must wear an ASA compliant helmet
• The event is held in accordance with rules and regulations set by AusCycling and current at the time of the event. These include and are not limited to Technical Regulations: Road, located at https://bit.ly/3nCLcsL and Technical Regulations: General, located at https://bit.ly/3FDSHpF. Participants must adhere to the directions of Commissaries. Decisions on grading are at the discretion of the RANDWICK CYCLING handicapper and their decision is final
• Women and men (both adults and juniors) race together in the same race, within their grade, at the discretion of the RANDWICK CYCLING handicapper
• Refunds or credits will be made if the event is cancelled due to weather, or other safety reasons. In the event that the entrant does not start, a refund or credit is unavailable. Refunds may be made if requested at least 3 days before the event, less a $5 administration fee
• All riders entering a sanctioned AusCycling event acknowledge that they engage in that event at their own risk and that cycling and cycle racing can be considered a dangerous sport which can result in injury out of an act or omission of the rider, other riders, spectators and other obstacle, and track conditions. Whilst all reasonable care is taken by organisers and officials when organising the event; all participating cyclists have an equal responsibility to ensure they take all reasonable care in adhering to the rules and other conditions imposed by officials ensuring a safe race environment for all concerned

There will be no physical sign on sheet. Riders shall be required to identify themselves at the registration desk, provide evidence of their vaccination status, and show their AusCycling RACE licence. Each rider's grade and race number will be noted.
