LACC Fab Friday Ride

This ride is a step up from the Wed women’s ride, in a bunch on the road (must be comfortable with 35-40km/h effort for 1.5km along Henley Marine Drive).  Approx 70mins, covering 28kms with a few hills (see Strava Link on the LACC website), and opportunity for rolling regroups and/or short-cuts).  Coffee at Trovatino cafe (Wareemba, on Great North Rd) by 7am.

Rides are training rides with specific focus, and we ask you obey road rules and follow the instruction of the ride captain.

Due to the current COVID environment we ask that all participants follow the public health orders and urge the following:

1. If you are showing any symptoms of illness, get tested and stay isolated. Do not participate in any gatherings.
2. That members make every effort to observe social distancing during meet up and at the post ride coffee stop.
3. That members understand that 1.5m is NOT the safe distance when riding in a slipstream of another rider. The AIS recommend 10m.
4. That members take measures to allow contact tracing -- running the CovidSafe app, recording on Strava and/or keeping a log of who you ride with

I  participate in this ride at my own risk.  I waive any rights I may otherwise have against LACC relating to, and agree  LACC is not responsible for, any loss, of any type, caused by my participation in the ride, including any loss that may arise from my or any other person’s death or injury, or any damage to any property.

If the participant in this ride is under 18 years of age, I warrant that I am a parent or guardian of the participant and agree for myself, and the participant, to provide the acknowledge, waiver and release set out above in respect of the participant.
