COVID-19 NOTICE

On Sat Aug 22 the Queensland Government was forced to make changes to the COVID-19 restrictions, due to a number of coronavirus cases being identified. These changes are in place for a number of Local Government Areas, including Brisbane, Ipswich, Logan, Scenic Rim, Somerset, Lockyer Valley, Moreton Bay, and Redlands.
These changes in restrictions limit the number of visitors you can have in your home, and the number of people you can have at a public gathering. However, as long as sporting events are inline with the Sporting Industry Plan – Outdoor Sport there are no changes to restrictions and events can proceed.
Instructions - abide by all the instructions provided online, via signage and by volunteers and officials
Don't come - If you have any symptoms including a high temperature, have been asked to self-quarantine or isolate, are awaiting the results of a COVID-19 test, have travelled overseas or through a hotspot within 14 days
Observe signs and markers - follow all directions and markers at registration and the start and finish areas.
Social distancing - yes it may have been a while since you've seen your mates; but no handshakes, hugs or kisses. Please keep to 1.5m social distancing and abide by markings on the floor
Sign-on - no more than 2 people at the registration table, maintain 1.5m distance when queuing
Race numbers - after racing, place them in the sterilising bucket provided
Sanitiser - please use the hand sanitiser provided
Get in, Race, Get out - go home after racing or presentations to minimise total numbers for each race session
Hygiene - no air hankeys/snotrockets, spitting etc!
