Gold Coast Cycling Club Senior Track Training will be run in accordance with AusCycling and City of the Gold Coast (Council) guidelines, as follows:
- You must be a financial member of AusCycling to attend the session.
- Get In, Train and Get Out
- Participants should only attend the activity as close as practical to the start of any training and leave as soon as possible after the end of the session.
- Participants should only handle their equipment (bikes, bidons, nutrition and towels) and not touch the equipment of others
- Participants should bring their own filled bidons (no use of water taps, fill up from home)
- The Club will provide hand sanitiser, however, all participants are also asked to bring their own.
- The use of change rooms should be minimised (e.g. for toilets not for showering) (Toilets will be open but don’t go in the change rooms)
- Avoid the use of non-essential surfaces including benches, fences and gates (e.g. avoid touching the fence when lining up on the velodrome. Spread out down the track with one foot on the ground.
- Participants and deliverers must ensure physical distancing requirements are adhered to (as above)
- No post-training social activities are to be conducted (quick roll around, then lights out and go home)
- Determine which activities are non-essential (e.g. recovery sessions or meetings) are to be done remotely (e.g. at home or online)
- No participants and deliverers are to attend (or must leave immediately) if they have any illness or symptoms of COVID-19
- Participants and deliverers must not attend if in the last 14 days they have been unwell or had close contact with a known or suspected case of COVID-19, even if mild.
GOLD COAST CITY COUNCIL COVID-19 restrictions and related information for hirers:
- Hire must not exceed booked times.
- Hirer must record contact details for all participants.
- Spectators are not permitted in venue and must remain in vehicle at all times.
- Sanitisation of sporting equipment is required prior to entering the venue.
- Patrons must arrive no earlier than 15 minutes prior to the commencement and wait outside.
- Patrons must exit the venue immediately upon completion of hire.
- Patrons must comply with all signage within the venue including entry and exit points.
- All lost property will be disposed of on completion of hire.
- Patrons that do not comply with current legislation will be removed from the venue.

All participants must be financial members of AusCycling, and holders of a valid Race or Lifestyle licence. As such, participants will be insured through AusCycling. All participants take part at their own risk. The Club is covered by public liability insurance.

Member Conduct Policy
All members of the Gold Coast Cycling Club and holders of AusCycling (AC) licences agree to abide by AC’s Code of Conduct. This is a set of rules outlining the behaviour expected from athletes, coaches, managers, officials, commissaires and other support staff.

• Show respect for others and their property. Consider other people’s physical and emotional well-being and possessions.
• The Club is to be an environment free of harassment, without any hostility, intimidation or offensive language and behaviour. Do not harass anyone.
• Treat everyone equally regardless of gender, ethnic origin or religion. Do not discriminate.
• Sledging of anyone is unacceptable.
• The consumption or use of banned substances is unacceptable.
